Inspiring Lessons

I Dare you... be a "Battery Charger of the Human Spirit" this week!! Be THE person that brings an amazingly empowering attitude and encouraging words to all your conversations! Immediate application: I dare encourage "possibility thinking" in one other person today.

Attitude M-O-M-E-N-T-U-M!

Remember, the meaning that you give things mentally will directly impact how you are feeling about your day, your job...your life. Don't let your mind get boggled down with negative or IMpossibility thinking. Be aware of your limiting and negative thoughts, and consciously redirect your thinking. Bring a more positive mindset  to your every day world and change your results! Immediate application: If an unwelcomed situation barges into your world today, don't let it weigh you down. Ask yourself, "How can I turn this into a positive?"

Possibility Thinkers...

Desiring to bring movies that make a difference to the big screen, Larry Miller has formed a new film production company called Sunset Film Productions. As Executive Producer, Larry has networked with Hollywood talents Donald Zuckerman and George Hickenlooper to take on their first project, Bagmen. A securities and investment professional, Larry isn't one just to talk about doing things. He takes action! Initially mulling over the concept with me just a few short months ago, it is now a reality. A giant in possibility thinking, Larry stands out in my mind as a guy that truly walks the talk!

Immediate application: What big dreams have you been talking about lately? Take a baby step today towards making it happen!

"According to Amicus"...

"Perhaps that's where your trouble lays, Jay.  You're looking in this everything around you...for answers when you should be looking inside yourself."

(excerpt from Amicus 101: A Story About the Pursuit of Purpose and Overcoming Life's Chaos.)

Wet Blanket Lessons...

By definition,"wet blankets" are individuals whose pessimism can eliminate any forward momentum of fun or discovery. What are Wet Blanket Lessons? They are the amazing lessons that we can learn from others who said, "It can't be done!" The wet blanket quote:"This 'telephone' has too many shortcomings to be seriously considered as a means of communication. The device is inherently of no value to us." Western Union internal memo, 1876

The wet blanket lesson: Sure, a credible source might have told you that you're  not experienced enough to get the enough to start the business...handsome enough to catch the girl...but does that person's opinion really control your destiny? Hogwash! Listen to the experts...evaluate their input...but don't let their opinions become your blueprint for moving forward.

Immediate application: Okay...confession time. When did you recently bag it in early because of someone's wet blanket advice? Are you really destined to let this expert advice stop you from getting what you wanted? If not, what do you need to do?

Etc., etc., etc...

What could you accomplish in your life if you didn't let fear stop your dreams? Who says you have to settle with your current career, financial, and life situation? Make your dreams a reality and consider investing in your most important success creating
