The Moon, the Sun...and Two Chihuahuas

At 6:15 a.m.... two Chihuahuas and I left for our morning walk.

One of us witnessed a gigantic moon leave the sky...and a brilliant sun inch up and light the Southern California world. Both images were astonishingly dramatic and inspiring, and I whispered audibly "Wow!"

Sensing my enthusiasm, two sets of dog eyes continuously darted up and locked onto mine. Their "sniffers" went into high gear as if seeking to discover the source of my positive energy.

It was an "A+" morning.

Loved the walk.

Loved the fresh air.

Loved the sights.

Loved the moment.

As I now write this at 8:45 a.m., I sense strongly that today is going to be a great day. I feel it. I know it. How can I be certain? My appreciation for day's intentions...they were created early with that 45-minute walk.

Great days...average days...crappy days, they each have their roots in how we live our mornings.

Live yours greatly.
