Be Generous With Gratitude for Best Results

All of us have had a time or two where we've needed to pick up the phone and call a customer service line regarding a problem we are having. The reason for the call, unfortunately, has us leading with less than our best attitude. Sometimes, in fact, we are darn right pissed.

And our voice makes that clear.

Then, we find ourselves in a situation where we are arguing with the person on the other end of the phone. When that starts, we risk losing their potential help in doing everything THEY can to help us. We give them very little reason to try their best.

If you want to make your world a bit happier, be generous in your "thank yous" and show sincere gratitude to the person helping you.
Representatives who deal with "people problems" all day have tough jobs. Make their job easier and watch what can potentially happen to
make your problem better.
