A Special Night

November 5, 2009

Last night was a special night.

First, I was able to speak to a group of volunteers and staff at Mercy Hospital in Sacramento. Honestly, there is nothing I love more in the world than planting seeds of "possibility" and encouraging others to ask "What if...? as they reflect on their own lives.

My philosophy on speaking is to simply to always give it my best...let my passion shine through...and communicate a message I believe in with my whole heart. When you do those things, the results are usually pretty darn successful.

Second, I had the special privilege of creating a great life moment for an amazing 95 year old women. It was kept a surprise to Raynia Kinniston that she had receievd my first extra Mile American award...and when she heard the news...it was just one of those special life moments where sincere happiness ran through every cell of my body.

It feels great to help others "win," doesn't it?
