Napoleon Bonaparte had his men burn their own ships as they entered a battle on foreign soil. History shares the story that he would tell his men, "If you want to go home...back to your families...you need to go back in the enemy's ships!"
That's incentive for winning...and winning big, isn't it?
With Napoleon's admonition, he planted the thought, "There will be NO retreat. There is NO Plan B." Napolean removed all chances of retreat, and by doing so, he empowered his troops to fight with a fierce intensity.
